Officiellement recruté par Manchester United ce jeudi pour 30M€, Memphis Depay a affiché sa satisfaction suite à ce transfert : « Je suis très reconnaissant envers le PSV et les fans pour avoir cru en moi. Maintenant c’est l’heure de marquer et de gagner des trophées avec Manchester United », a lancé l’attaquant néerlandais.
