Tyson Fury, qui devrait retrouver le chemin des rings après sa retraite, a lancé un défi à Anthony Joshua.
Est-ce qu’il arrête ou pas ? Personne ne sait ce qui passe par la tête de Tyson Fury. L’ancien champion du monde poids lourds avait annoncé prendre sa retraite en octobre 2016, assurant d’ailleurs quelques mois après qu’il ne reviendra pas sur sa décision. Mais voilà un an tout juste après avoir raccroché les gants, il annonce vouloir revenir sur les rings pour « trois gros combats ». Il semble bien que le premier ne concerne Anthony Joshua !
« Le vieux champion revient… »
Via son compte Instagram, le boxeur britannique a annoncé qu’il allait revenir, se comparant d’ailleurs à Muhamed Ali, qui avait perdu son titre de champion du monde après avoir refusé de combattre avec l’armée américaine au Vietnam. « Voilà ce qui arrive » a écrit Tyson Fury, accompagnant son message d’une photo de la légende de la boxe aux côtés de George Foreman. « Le vieux champion revient pour combattre un homme dont tout le monde pense qu’il me mettra KO ». Ce message est clairement adressé à Anthony Joshua, qui domine la catégorie des poids lourds depuis son départ à la retraite en 2016.
